Rosstat: In August, Russia had no inflation

Federal State Statistics Service of Russia reported that in the past month, inflation in Russia amounted to 0.0% since the beginning of the year - 8,1%. In August last year, inflation in Russia amounted to 0.4% since the beginning of the year - 9,7%.

As experts Rosstat in August by a significant reduction in price of fruits and vegetables decrease in consumer prices observed in 31 RF subjects, while in 4 regions of the country's increase in consumer prices was 0.5% or more. The greatest increase in prices and rates mentioned in the Republic of Dagestan - on 1,2%, where food prices increased by 1,9%. In Moscow, the consumer price index for the month was 99.9% (YTD -108.7%), in St. Petersburg - 99,4% (fromthe beginning of the year - 107,8%).
